Nestled on 3 acres of picturesque grounds, The Dunnegan Estate is a charming and intimate venue perfect for weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, and special gatherings. With 2,500 square feet of beautifully appointed space, this historic estate blends traditional charm with a light and airy atmosphere, creating a warm and inviting setting for your event.

The magnificent Estate was built in 1880 with bricks from the owner’s very own mason factory, 12 foot high ceilings and a black walnut staircase that will take your breath away. Judge T.H.B Dunnegan Sr., was the mastermind behind the beautiful home that was passed down to his sons T.H.B Jr. and John Dunnegan. Both were born in the 1890s and lived in the home until their deaths in the 1980s. The house was then passed down and a 5,000 square foot addition was built for Mr. and Mrs. Wainscott to reside, which Mrs. Wainscott did until 2015. While the new addition sat unoccupied for only 6 years, the main Dunnegan house sat unoccupied for almost 40 years. In 2019 the house sold outside of the family at auction for the first time in 139 years.
In 2021 B&C Heritage Holdings, LLC was formed by a group of close-knit family and friends for the sole purpose of purchasing The Dunnegan Estate and taking on the task of restoring the Mansion to its former glory. While restoration began on the original mansion, the idea of finishing out the 1980s addition took root with the intention of giving our guests an expansive venue with overnight guest rooms to accommodate an entire party. We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into renovating the entire estate for our community and beyond to gather at for all of their special events and create a source of pride for our town.

What is your max capacity?

We have a legal capacity of 99 inside the Estate, but plenty of room for our outdoor events.

Date reservation is 50% for weddings and elopements. Other events are full amount.
